GPA Prediction Tool

Use this page to predict your future weighted GPA, using information about this year and next year.

Step 1: Current GPA Information

By looking at your most recent transcript, enter the following information.
Transcripts only include credit information for semesters that have already been completed - they do not include semesters currently in progress. If the transcript you are getting GPA information from includes both fall and spring semesters, enter the number of State credits under the Credit Totals section. If the transcript only includes fall semester, you will have to project how many credits you will have in the spring and add those to the existing total. To do this, add 0.5 for every class that awards state credit that you project you will pass in the spring.
Current weighted GPA: 0
End-of-year credits: 0

Step 2: Next School Year

Type in how many credits you will take next year in each of the three GPA tiers. For more information about GPA tiers, scroll down to the bottom of this page. Remember that each semester grants 0.5 credit.

Projected weighted GPA: N/A

WEIGHTED GRADE POINT AVERAGE

The District categorizes and weights courses as Tier I, Tier II, and Tier III in accordance with policy EIC (LOCAL). The Weighted GPA is used to determine local graduation honors and the highest ranking graduate.

Tier II courses include high school Pre-AP courses, Pre-IB courses, and other courses locally designated as honor courses.

Tier III courses include all other courses not designated as Tier I or Tier II courses.
